Hutchinson & area senior citizens have a variety of services and recreational opportunities available to them at the Hutchinson Senior Center located in the Hutchinson Event Center at 1005 Hwy 15 South. Each month, seniors can choose from a variety of educational and exciting leisure choices. They can also meet, mingle and make new friends by participating in dances, classes, discussion groups and tours. The Senior Center is also the site for service programs that cover such timely issues as health, legal advocacy, and services for the blind. The Senior Center is open from 9:00 am-3:30 pm Monday through Thursday. For more information call 320-234-5656.

Adaptive Recreation is a weekly activity program specially geared for mentally and/or physically challenged teens and adults. Adaptive Rec. is sponsored by the Hutchinson Parks, Recreation & Community Education Department, with additional funding from the Hutchinson Area United Way.
